Whenever someone goes to smoke some marijuana, they usually are thinking about the feeling they are going to get, not doing it to be cool (unless you think you have to smoke to be cool). Some people may smoke just for the feeling of smoking, but most of us smoke to get high. Personally, before I start smoking I think about how to efficiently use marijuana, not something like “I hope everyone sees me smoking ”cause I’m so cool.”
Anyway, my point is that the reason we smoke weed is to get high. So wouldn’t you want to get the most out of your marijuana? By that I mean using it to its full potential, getting as high as you can with that amount of marijuana you have. Unless, of course, you prefer to microdose. But should you continue reading this post, you can learn some tips on how to smoke your marijuana more efficiently.
Take Bigger Hits
The first tip is to take bigger hits. Obviously, the bigger the hit that you take the more smoke that will enter your lungs. This also means more THC in your body, which is what gets you high. So you could sit there with some weed and take small hits and make it last longer, or take bigger hits and get through it quicker. Yes, taking bigger hits will cause you to run out of weed faster. So if you are trying to save it, then don’t take this tip. But if you are more focused on getting high, then make all those hits count!
Hold In Those Hits
Besides taking bigger hits, holding in those hits will also help you get high quickly. When you hold in a hit, you allow the THC to settle in your system, rather than it coming and going very fast. If you are new to smoking, then start withholding in small hits. As you do this more and more, increase the size of the hits you are taking. This will help you build your tolerance and will get you high.
If you put my first two tips together, it may force you to cough (possibly cough a lot). But, did you know that coughing gets you high much faster? The reason for this is that when you cough, your lungs expand and allow more smoke to enter. So if you ever take a really big hit and it causes you to have a coughing attack, you are going to feel that high soon afterward.
Should you want to get the most out of your weed, then you can always hotbox. Simply smoke in a room or car with no airflow going in or out (meaning close all windows and doors). Hotboxing allows you to be surrounded by smoke, meaning you are constantly breathing it in and getting higher by the minute. But be careful, as this will cause the area that your hotbox to smell like marijuana afterward. Also, if you are not used to smoking a lot, you may experience a coughing attack.
Keep in mind that this will cause the place that you are hotboxing to smell like weed after. If you do not want that to happen, you could always use a smoke purifier to eliminate the smell. Make sure that if you cannot smell like weed, then you don’t.
Smoke Good Strains
Another good thing to do is remember your favorite strain. Some strains of marijuana might get you higher than others. Living in California, I have smoked many different strains, and I know which ones I would smoke again and which ones I wouldn’t. So remember the strains that get you that perfect high, and try to keep buying that one. But don’t close the door for new strains, it’s always good to try one at least once so you can determine your favorite strains.
If you want to get as high as you can from weed, then I suggest smoking it out of a bong. Bongs can deliver large hits and cause you to get high quicker than other smoking options. If you are smoking wax, then use a rig to get large hits. I do not recommend smoking beyond your limit, however. Just know how much you can smoke and don’t overdo it.
If you happen to get too high, then you may need to calm that high down. Click here for tips on how to do just that. At least you know you were able to use your weed more efficiently, right?
Using the tips above will help you get the most out of your marijuana. These tips will not only make you use your marijuana more efficiently but also help you get higher. Happy smoking!
