The CannaPunch THC Beverage Review

Cannabis edibles have been around for many decades. In the few recent ones, edible beverages have surfaced and become quite popular. Now you can not only eat your THC, but you can even drink it!

This review focuses on the THC beverage available from Cannapunch. If you have ever been wondering how these drinkable edibles work, then you can read our review below and judge for yourself. Edibles are not for all stoners out there, but you should try them out for yourself to know if you like them. Yet, some stoners prefer smoking their stash rather than eating/drinking it.

Drinkable Edibles

Cannapunch THC Beverage
Holding the Cannapunch THC Beverage.

The Cannapunch THC Beverage is a drinkable edible that offers a good dose of THC, of course. As with all other edibles, these drinks require some time to take effect. The average edible take about 1-2 hours to fully kick in. This drink is about the same, however, some effects can be felt almost instantly, which is fascinating.

On the bottle of this beverage, the label claims that this drink was infused using Nano Extraction Technology, or NXT. The bottle states that you can “feel it [the effects] faster with NXT.” Therefore, edibles that use NXT in their infusion procedures may give off their effects much faster. Next time you go shopping for edibles, keep an eye out for this and see if you can find any that used NXT.

Some drink edibles can be sipped directly from its bottle. However, others are concentrates and require a primary drink (such as juice, water, smoothies, etc.) to counter the concentration. For example, you would not want to drink any entire glass of liquid water flavoring. Instead, you add some to a glass of water. The same thing goes for drinks such as this THC beverage.

This edible in particular from Cannapunch is concentrated and will need another liquid to counter it. Technically you could sip it straight from the bottle, but it will be much better when you mix it with something else. Luckily, we have included our smoothie recipe in this post at the bottom. This recipe is exactly what we used to conduct our review of this product. Let’s get into it.

The Review

Cannapunch drink label
The label for this drink states cannabinoid and terpene levels.

The bottle of this drink states that “the appropriate dose of marijuana may be different for each consumer.” Also, it gives you a recommended dosage that you should take. It claims to be 24mL, yet this is too low for those who already use marijuana. If you are brand new to it and just getting started, then please use this dosage. However, for experienced stoners, this will not cut it. Those with a high tolerance for marijuana will need to at least double the recommended dosage on this bottle.

We needed to conduct two separate tests on this product due to this low dosing. On the first run, we only used the recommended dosage and it did not have much effect on either of us (there were two of us who tried it, me and my wife). The second time we doubled the dosage and were then both able to conduct a fair review.

The bottle does not necessarily say so, but we believe this to be an Indica-dominant strain used for this particular bottle. I am not sure if Cannapunch uses different strains for different bottles or flavors, but I can tell you that this Pineapple Mango Delight flavor uses an Indica-dominant. One of its strongest effects is sleepiness, coupled with muscle relaxation. It is also very relaxing throughout the entire body, making it very easy to fall asleep soon. I would recommend using this as a nighttime beverage, perhaps not too long before bed.

Overall, we gave this product a good review. Its effects are felt quicker than pretty much all of the edibles I have ever tried before, and the indica effects make for a great night of sleep. They also come in a variety of flavors, which is ideal if you make your drinks from them. Speaking of your drinks, why not try out our smoothie recipe below, which of course includes some of this delicious Pineapple Mango Delight!

Our Smoothie Recipe

  • One banana
  • Protein powder, or greens powder (make sure it is a berry or neutral flavor)
  • Almond milk

This smoothie is very easy to make. The hardest part is gathering the ingredients! Once you do that, simply toss everything in a blender and blend it up. I did not include exact amounts for milk, ice cubes and powder as these can be adjusted as desired. Enjoy your cold THC smoothie!

For those new to edibles, this beverage is a good start. Just remember, rookies should keep it at the one recommended dose. Experienced stoners who use cannabis regularly may want to up their doses, adjusting accordingly. A good rule of thumb for all edibles is to start small and wait for the effects to kick in. If you think you still need some more, only take a little at a time. The last thing you want is for a mega high to creep up on you. Thanks for reading!
