Recipe: Marijuana Mayo

Sometimes cannabis infusion is as simple as infusing one ingredient out of an entire recipe. Take canna honey for example. You could make a regular cup of tea, add in some canna honey, and now it’s cannabis-infused tea! We can do the same thing with mayo, which we like to call “marijuana mayo”. Cannamayo just didn’t sit right with us, what do you think?

As with regular condiments, marijuana mayo can spread on anything and will infuse it with cannabis. Want to get high for lunch? Make a sandwich and spread some of this infused mayo on there. You could also mix this mayo into another recipe, possibly a whole dish, and serve it to many (adult) stoners. There are many possibilities with marijuana mayo!

Ingredients

For this recipe, you will first need to whip up some cannabis cooking oil, or canna oil.

The recipe below will result in 2 cups of marijuana mayo:

  • 1 cup of cannabis
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Step 1

Start off by cracking open the three eggs. Catch the egg yolks in your hands (we recommend washing your hands first), while allowing the white to run down. Use two bowls for this: one to catch the egg whites and the other to place the egg yolks in. You can now toss the egg whites and save the yolks.

Step 2

In the bowl with egg yolks, add in the dijon mustard, lemon juice, vinegar and salt. Whisk thoroughly.

Step 3

Next, add in the canna oil and whisk again. Continue to whisk until the mixture begins to thicken. It should become as thick as regular mayo. If it becomes too thick, add in a few drops water and continue to whisk. Your marijuana mayo is now complete!
