Ingredients
- 1 cup of cannabutter
- 1 cup of light corn syrup
- 2 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 can (14 oz.) of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 dash of salt
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
Instructions: Recipe for cannabis-infused caramel bites
First, make sure that the cannabutter is melted. Then add brown sugar and salt to it. Stir this up. Add the corn syrup and condensed milk (slowly) while stirring, and continue stirring this up until all of these ingredients have been fully combined.
Cook the mix from Step 1 over medium heat while stirring. Let the batter heat up to 245-255 degrees Fahrenheit; the batter should start firming up into a firm ball stage. This can take up to 12-15 minutes.
Remove from heat before adding the vanilla. Once the vanilla is added, pour the entire batter into a 9″ by 13″ pan. All you need to do now is wait for the batter to cool. Once it has cooled, you can cut it into whatever size you prefer, and wrap them up for later (or eat them now)!
To improve this recipe, you may want to add some extra sea salt to the caramel after it cools down; you can also dip it in melted chocolate to enhance the flavor. Use nuts and/or berries to switch up the taste, the choice is ultimately up to you. Enjoy!
