Ingredients
Choosing the right strain for this recipe can be important, especially considering your desired effects. A good rule of thumb is to use indica strains for sedative effects and sativa strains for creativity/focus. Also consider the potency of the strain that you choose. Once you have the right strain, grind up the buds so we can get started!
You’ll need:
- 1 gram of cannabis (ground)
- 2 cups of water
- 1/4 cup of raw almonds
- Food processor
- Strainer or cheesecloth
- Medium-sized saucepan
Instructions
Step 1
Grab your food processor and toss in the two cups of water and all of the almonds. Blend this together until it resembles milk. Then, use a strainer (or cheesecloth) to strain the milk. Hang on to the strainer as you will need to use it once more.
Step 2
Now take your freshly-made milk and add it to your saucepan. Boil it, then reduce the heat. Next, toss in your ground cannabis and simmer this for 45 minutes, occasionally stirring. This allows your cannabis to decarboxylate and also infuse well with the milk.
Step 3
Once you have simmered the milk, turn off the heat and strain the milk once more. Your cannabis almond milk is now complete!
