Nut butter refers to many different types of butter, including (but not limited to): peanut butter, almond butter, and Nutella. You can use any type of nut butter for this recipe, which makes it even better! Everyone is different, so use the type of nuts that best suits you.
Below is a recipe for some homemade nut butter infused with cannabis. You could also take the easier route and use already-made nut butter, and mix it with canna oil. If you want to do this, it is very easy. All you do is mix in some canna oil with your store-bought nut butter. Mix it in thoroughly, and you now have some cannabis-infused nut butter! However, if you wish to make your own, and want to know everything that is put into your butter, then follow the steps below.

Ingredients
While making your nut butter may be a better option, it can be a bit difficult. You will need a food processor to turn the nuts into paste. That is the hardest part. After that, it’s just infusing cannabis!
- Nuts of your choice (hazelnuts for Nutella)
- Canna oil
- Flavorings (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Grind and/or roast nuts
To speed up the process of making the butter, you can grind up as many nuts (peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, and that sort, not whatever you may be thinking) as the processor will hold and/or roast them beforehand. Alternatively, you can purchase roasted nuts from the store. If you wish to roast them yourself, then spread them evenly on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 F (176 C) for 10 minutes. Stir them around a few times while baking to avoid burning any. If you wish to use raw nuts, then skip the roasting. The only issue with raw nuts is that they will take longer to process and will result in butter that will expire faster.
Step 2: Add nuts and oil to a food processor
Now, add your nuts to the food processor. Process them for 20 minutes, occasionally scraping the sides to ensure that all of the nuts get blended. Once this is done, stir in your canna oil. For the amount, stir in one dose of canna oil for every 2 tablespoons of butter. If you are not sure whether you added enough or even too much, then try it when you finish this recipe. Give the butter about 1-2 hours before the effects kick in, to determine if the dosage was right or not.
Step 3: Add flavorings
Optionally, you can add in some flavors to spice up your nut butter. Do not add any liquid flavorings, however, as they can reduce the butter’s shelf life. Some good flavorings to add are cocoa powder, cinnamon, or vanilla bean (powder or paste, not liquid). You can also add sugar, however, if you want to keep it healthy then reduce your sugar amounts. Explore some flavorings, and discover new ones! Who knows, maybe you’ll stumble upon the next best combination.
That’s all for this recipe. Hope you enjoyed it. Let me know how your nut butter turns out! I am always interested in hearing feedback on these recipes. Additionally, you can check out more of our recipes by clicking this link below:
