Cannabis-Infused Christmas Sugar Cookies Recipe

If you are reading this on the day that this post was published, then you know that tomorrow is Christmas. With that being said, why not make some Christmas sugar cookies that are infused with cannabis? Share them with friends and family, and watch everyone have a joyful Christmas.

Don’t celebrate Christmas? Well, that’s okay! In that case, we’ll just call these cannabis-infused sugar cookies. You can still make these and eat them like regular sugar cookies, and you will still get high from them.

Ingredients

Before you begin making your cannabis-infused (Christmas) sugar cookies, you will need to make cannabutter. Click here for the recipe on that.

After the cannabutter has been made, you can start making those cookies! Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 cup of cannabutter
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • One egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Instructions: Recipe for Cannabis-Infused Christmas Sugar Cookies

Step 1: Mix up the ingredients

First, you will need to sift the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set that bowl aside. Next, beat the cannabutter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed until the mixture is creamy and thoroughly blended up. Grab the small bowl that was set aside, and add all of it to the large bowl that was just blended. Stir all of the ingredients up in the large bowl until thoroughly combined. Cover the bowl and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2: Prepare the dough

After that hour has passed, remove the dough from the refrigerator. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 C). Next, flour a cutting board (or any flat, dry surface), and roll out the dough to about 1/3 inch of thickness. Grab your desired holiday cookie cutters and shape the dough. Transfer these to an ungreased baking sheet.

Step 3: Bake the cookies

Once your oven has been preheated, and you have completed Step 2 above, it’s time to bake. Put that baking sheet in the oven and let it bake for 10-12 minutes (or until a light golden brown color). After baking, remove the sheet from the oven. Your cookies are done!

Now, these cookies are only plain sugar cookies. If you would like to decorate them, then you can add frosting and/or sprinkles to them. While the cookies are still warm, spread some frosting on them and top with sprinkles. Decorate them any way that you want.

Frosting and sprinkles can both be bought at grocery stores. If you would like to make your frosting, however, then you only need three simple ingredients:

  • powdered sugar
  • water
  • food coloring (optional)

Grab a container and pour some powdered sugar in it. Then, pour an equal amount of water in, and stir it up. While stirring, you can add about 2-3 drops of food coloring in, if you would like to color the frosting. Stir this up until the mixture becomes thick. Now you have some frosting for your cookies!

Reefer Post wishes everyone to have a happy holiday with friends and family. Enjoy the time with your loved ones, and share some cannabis-infused sugar cookies with them (that’ll get the family in a laughable mood). Happy holidays!
