Are you a fan of strawberry jam (or jelly)? It can go great on toast, sandwiches, even waffles or pancakes! What are some other dishes that can be served with strawberry jam?
This recipe for strawberry jam makes it infused with cannabis! That’s right, you can spread this jam on whatever you like, eat it, then sit back and wait for that high to kick in. It is also very tasty, if you are a fan of strawberry-flavored foods.
You will also need to use cannahoney in this recipe, click here to learn how to make that.
Ingredients
This recipe will take approximately 30 minutes to complete, and will yield two cups of strawberry jam (that is infused with weed).
- 1/4 cup of cannahoney
- 4 cups of fresh strawberries
- 3 cups of sugar
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 1 small saucepan
- 2 mason jars with lids
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the strawberries and cannahoney
The first step in making this weed jam is to get the strawberries ready. Cut each strawberry in half, and also remove all of the stems. Once this is done, set the halved strawberries to the side. Take your cannahoney and divide it into two. Put each half of the cannahoney separately into the mason jars. Then, you can set the jars aside as well.
Step 2: Cook the sugar and lemon juice
Grab that small saucepan. In it, combine the sugar and lemon juice. Cook this over a very low heat for 10 minutes, or until the sugar completely dissolves.
Step 3: Add the strawberries
Once you have finished Step 2, add the strawberries to the saucepan. Continue to heat this for 20 additional minutes, or until the berries begin to juice and the mixture is very hot (don’t stick your hand in there to test that out, though).
Step 4: Pour the jam in the jars
When the mixture has finally finished cooking, remove it from the heat and grab both mason jars filled with cannahoney. Pour the strawberry mix from the saucepan equally into both jars. Mix this well.
Your cannabis-infused strawberry jam is now done! Serve it immediately, or set the jars aside and allow the jam to cool. If you are storing it for later, you’ll want to let the jam cool before sealing the jars and refrigerating them. Thanks for reading! Check out some more of our recipes by clicking here.
